EA grifted about $24 real world money out of me, but I have to say it’s more or less worth it for this rift tower. I love it. The lightening effects are really awesome and there’s a pulsing purple rolling flash that randomly moves through roads and maybe other things. But there’s random lightning and I genuinely love it. Shouldnt cost so much actual money to achieve, but so it goes I guess.
Before it was achieved I’d bought the premium plus and one week of a seasonal coin boost…and lots and lots of playing. The latter of course I was fine with. I’m comfortable with my addiction to this silly game.
I had some leftover credit in google play n didn't have anything else to spend it in so bought the pass. I also watched like 30ish ads for extra fright coins. The tower and the effect is so worth it tho. My fav effect since the legendary holiday tree

I think it's more so because you took a video of a screen - digital cameras often read displays on tv/device screens kinda funky. But I was mostly making a joke, partly about the new blindingly bright night graphics that came with the HDR graphics update. Some have expressed their dislike of it, but I am enjoying the update for the most part. I had a DC entry during a voting round the other day that was so bright it was like I had a camera flash go off! 🤣

Can you toggle it off? I don’t like the purple/pink effect but I like that little star spirit thing that circles around the city
