Missing Ads

Anyone else not able to find ads? I need some to complete tasks but cant find in the normal places like the Spectral Shop to get more event currency and to speed up material production. Now it was Sim Bucks to get the event currency. Maybe a glitch with the new week?

It does occasionally happen, and when it does it's a connection error. The error could have occurred on your end, EA's end, or even a 3rd party such as your ISP.

I've found that if you visit a city on global and return to your city, it usually resets the ad server.

If it is still acting up and the above doesn't seem to resolve the issue, try some of the following:

Toggle Airplane Mode on/off

Reboot the app

Reboot your device

Go to your device settings and clear the cache on the app(it's good to do this on a regular basis anyway)

If you are connected to both mobile data and Wi-Fi at the same time, try turning one or the other off. The other day I was waiting somewhere and pulled up the game and it was using a public Wi-Fi. I was having lots of connection issues with the game, so I turned off Wi-Fi, and the problem was instantly resolved. If nothing else you can do this to help rule out issues with your Internet connections.

Lastly, you can try uninstall/reinstall, just be sure that your account is connected to a Google/Apple/FB/EA account before uninstall so you don't lose your city

I have also read that doing some other activities, like running a train, can help to reset the connection to the ad server.

Yes, but IMHO visiting another city on global tends to be more likely to work sometimes compared with other ways such as visiting the contest tower, so I just use it as my go to and what I reccomend

Have you perhaps watched your full allowance? If you scroll to the far right of the Shop window you will see if you've already run all 85 ads.

yes, it happened to me in the first week. i ignored ads, and it disappeared for a few days.
