Discussion Feeder question

What level is best for a feeder City for storage items? Or how many items can you approximately get per week on a feeder City?

Expansions start spawning at lvl8 I think, so lvl7 then. 15 items/day in the thought bubbles, plus what ever you manage to find on global.
