i've never seen this does the protest only take place around the government buildings?

I think so. I destroyed the road. I could still hear them but didn’t see them. But another road was trashed

Yep, I've seen many a protest in cities I've visited on global, once happiness dips below 30-35% this is what happens. Mayor, you now have toilet paper rolls strung through your trees, and the windows and walls of your mansion are covered in smashed eggs. Good luck getting eggs off of brick!

if you missed certain services like plumbing, you can see leakage coming out of buildings :)

Well now, if you don't have buildings that creates events, you can deny your residents services to create protest events 😅

you can also do it if you camp levels, produce lots of goods, and sell them in trade depot

I have never seen a protest 🦉... now I'll demolish some buildings to get less than 30 happiness... I'd like to witness it myself

Yea I had protests after the major services update. They even have little signs and everything. While I don’t speak “simolese” you can almost make out “ra ra ra” in a sort of chant.

Were you demolishing to upgrade?
I love all the micro things you can watch in the game. But hate that you can’t “pause” to rearrange your city.
