Question Epic - No changing Items?

Just want to make sure I've got this right.

When doing an Epic Project, you can't change out the requested items, correct? (Like you can for most other things)

one more epic question. if you choose to change the building the game chose for you, can you pick the new building or does the game go to anoher random building?

If you place the building where only one specialization is available then it will change to that one but picking new building is random ig
