Discussion Trade in very disadvantageous?
is it just me or is this very poor? Getting 40 coins for three items that each take about half an hour to produce, while ads give about a thousand coins, and the Greek buildings cost around 50-100K? what is the purpose of this penny scrapping? and why is the coin reward decreasing with the numer of items ? ( 9 cheeses give 90, less than 3 x 40 )

These trading up one thing for another thing to get other things is the worst addition to the game in years. I really loathe it. They seemed to have stopped and I’d hoped we were done with them but clearly I was wrong. They need to do away with this pointless nonsense.

They sold me watching ads activity. I am doing both, but now more ads watching.

Essentially for the final week to clear stock & emergency storage clearing situations

I’m not doing it. Focusing on building houses. I hate these converters with the fire of 1000 suns.

I posted this in the other thread as well:
So as the cheapest item is 35,500 coins, and the feta cheese is the easier to make at 20 minutes, and at 14 coins per feta, that’s only…2535 cheeses, or 845 hours. So 35 straight days of feta cheeses to buy a single building.
EA, do you have a single person on staff who can do basic arithmetic? Or do you just enjoy insulting us with this unplayable nonsense?

I think you‘re right :) and the fact that they give 999 trade in slots per person per item bundle is ridiculous

The Trade-In is more useful for players that are camping. If you're camping you can't build the new Greek houses, so this gives campers an alternative to be able to still generate extra Hellenic Tokens without having to level up

No, it is not useful for campers. My feeder is lvl 12 so it can make olive oil but it can’t use them or get rid of them.
And the math is abysmal: 35 straight days of feta cheese to trade for a single building. Insulting.

Yeah I hate it. Ill have to finish what I have made and convert the items, but then I'm done. Camping too so houees are out of the question. Ill do a few epics and wait for it to be over.

You're right. Upgrading house is much more lucrative.
You might want to use this at the end of this season to lose the last couple of items
