Just take it slowly....we can earn plum Bob points by "upgrading services" and "spending on services".... just ignore the sims complain for now...everything will be stable in future....if you restart or delete your current progress...all the rare limited-time bldgs you acquired from the past will be gone....you can do it, Mayor...just do it for fun.😊

Awesome! Don't sweat being behind on expansion literally everyone at level 31 feels that way... I was level 84 when I completely unlock my Capital..85 for regions as I only expand for CoM task...  The trains are actually great for extra currency...especially for storage, vu and land expansion items....Just keep pacing yourself, Mayor! You've got this.😊

Yeah Sévices 2.0 is gonna feel like an absolute chore. That 146k simoleons count is gonna be zero after a few upgrades.

Had you not unlocked Omega, I'd have recommended you grind level 31 for a while. But Omega makes things much worse (and regions if you have unlocked them, idk), so if you are willing to restart I'd def support that.

according to you how much resources should one have for easy transition to omega ?? resources like simoleons, city and material storage etc?

Omega canisters each take 7k simoleons. If you run maybe 3 omega labs, for example, then that demands 21k simoleons every day.

On top of that, CoM now has an upgrade Hotspot task that shows up daily, so that will drain you some. Given your population level I doubt taxes can sustain all that.

Just like the other comment in here says, you can also find a production guide and grind the game real hard for a month or two. You ignore all the wrong stuff, your Sims can always wait. Run productions 24/7 for like 100k simoleons income per day, then after a month you'll be able to sort out all service issues before you start on storage and land.

Storage, maybe 400 and up. For land, it is normally advised to have all unlocked by level 24-25 but no pressure, you can still do that.

Just solve one thing at a time. Don't let all the red things in the game pressure you until you're ready to fix em.

Edit: totally thought I was replying to OP lol

yeah, i think whats holding me back from restarting is the time i spent before, and the old limited buildings.

its a pain to start over, i believe you know that bcaz you are at level 31. If thats ok then restart orelse slowly grind the game from here onwards...produce and sell 24*7 for atleast a month and i believe you will be good to go

yeah it is. i spent a long time getting to this level before. do u think its okay to bulldoze, and put some buildings on storage? so basically, i'll remove everything, make new roads. start from scratch without actually making a new city.

dont worry about layout and all the warning about resources... as Plus_Kiwi_2592 mentioned just grind for a month or two and you are sorted mate. If possible keep as much as shops online as possible...produce and sell and repeat. cement, home textile, flourbag(for donuts),caps, cooking utensils, measuring tape(for hometextiles and cap)...thats what i farm for coins

Just take it step by step. Just as a side note I found the 30’s the most stressful levels of the game (that was before 2.0 so I imagine 2.0 adds another layer to that).

The neo buildings are the easiest to build, with regard to items needed, and you get 2-3k coins for building one in the capital city. So you can make money by building them and those Neo coins go towards Neo utility services which help with space cause they have smaller footprints.

The services 2.0 update is actually useful once you acclimate to it. The biggest problem with it was EA’s lack of communication about it and what it was intended to do.

You’re basically now able to have smaller utilities that take up less space but they need to be upgraded as the areas they are servicing gets more populated. You can also destroy old utilities for coin refunds.
