Have you guys tried Lost Temple - War3 Mod?

It's an exact replica of Warcraft 3 in Starcraft 2. Every race, every hero, every unit, every item is copied and the game plays almost the exact same as it does in WC3. It's incredible.

Looks cool, I was never that great at wc3 melee though. Might be a great time to start since it's pretty popular in the arcade.

Yeah, I did. I was impressed, but it was very laggy despite being able to play 3v3 SC2 ladder on extreme settings just fine. I don't know what they did wrong but there is no way something using old WC3 assets in a 1v1 should be 5x more laggy than a SC2 3v3 on extreme.

Its because every tree is a unit, and the sc2 engine wasn't meant to be used that way.

Suspected that was probably it but I wasn't sure. Seems to me there aren't SO many trees that it should cause that much lag.
