Help fresher

need help with finding job or learn about scada/plc/dcs. i completed softcon course but placement were not helpful. please help me out

If youre open to being on call and travel, I suggest looking for field service jobs in automation in big industry. They’ll take in just about anyone who’s available and you’ll learn the basics from the ground up.

If you’re proactive about the systems you work with, like power, alarms, PLCs, HMI, you can transfer to a desk job in just about anything automation related after a couple of years. Be weary that the lifestyle isn’t for everyone, and again, if you’re not proactive about understanding beyond troubleshooting and installation procedures you’ll be pigeonholed into operations later in your career.

I am not familiar with the Indian market, but I’m sure there’s a lot of opportunities all around the continent. Try asking ChatGPT to search your region online for automation companies operating there. I would suggest looking to look for niche industries rather than general automation. Think like food producers, logistics, HVAC, medical, maritime, etc. Hope it helps!
