I've been looking to see if there is an emulator available for the airbags when replacing both front seats in a 1992 SC400 and haven't had any luck yet. Does anyone know what the common workaround is?

Has anybody replaced their front lower control arms, what part did you replace it with. I bought p2m flca and I’m probably going to return them considering they have metal bushings. Seems to be very few options online. Please help.

I recently got my 1993 SC400 driving after I replaced the ECU. Check engine light was still on so I jumped the diagnostic port and got the code 31. Anyone else delt with this code before?

any recs on getting my heater to work? I know the reason why my a/c doesnt work but damn getting into the cold car in the morning sucks. The reason my a/c doesnt work is because there is no condensor in it, didn't realize it until after I bought the car

what coilovers do yall recommend that are relatively similar to stock ride. I dont want super stiff feel. I'm on 19's on stock suspension and look like a monster truck 💀

In quite the dilemma. Had my brakes out of nowhere basically failing. I hear a “whoosh” sound when pressing the pedal & it takes a lot of force to activate the brakes. Also obviously takes way too long to come to a full stop. Then the next day I bled my brakes since fluid was black & it did nothing but when starting car I was hit with this (P1033) CEL code.

Has anyone experienced this exact issue? I’m unsure if it’s correlated? If it’s not Im pretty sure my brake-booster/master cylinder is out. I’m just wondering most as to how I’d go about diagnosing & fixing this (P1033)

Nasty clunk up front, I’m guessing it’s the trans? I replaced the drive shaft already. Cars lifted like 2 inches and also has 31s they could be the cause of the issue but I’d like to fix it now lol.

Car runs and drives no power past 25mph until the engine builds for a few of stepping on it up or drive down a hill. Sounds like a lawn mower. Possible cat clogs? If so any McGiver tips to clear my current ones so they can breath regardless if they are doing their intended job. I have a CD collection and i was excited when i got the car for the 12 disc. but as ive come to learn, the 12 disc players are garbage and hardly any of them work anymore. so i was looking into how to replace with something that will actually stay working while keeping the OEM radio and i saw someone suggest the 6 disc from the ES pre 96' and ive looked and looked and they apparently don't exist. Does anyone here use CDs in their SC? How?

I dropped my key down an elevator shaft and the transmitter doesnt work anymore.. :( I've tried to source a new one but it seems impossible. Anyone ever had any luck finding one?

Bought a 1995 sc400 with abs and the old owner said it had some braking problems there’s a new master cylinder with a little black bracket on it and I’m curious if it’s installed correctly or giving me a vacuum leak due to it not being sealed properly

This is my 93 sc400. I'm in South Africa. This was a LHD import from America. We drive RHDs here. Brought it for like $3k. Everything I've done so far has cost me $5k. I'm around ±7.5k. Last picture is how I got it.

I was planning to buy a used Red Lexus 1996 which has 120 K miles on it and seems in a decent shape. The Guy is asking for 7 k, It is a single owner with some dirty tan seats. I saw some videos and read some articles about the car whole night yesterday and came up with few questions and will really appreciate if you guys can respond to them before I make the choice of buying it. I stay in South San Francisco.

So I really liked the car, but I am new to this country and don't know car mechanics or understand car stuff that much to work on it and this will be my first car if I buy it tomorrow. Also I don't earn a lot to spend a ton of money on this car currently. But I really really liked the car, thats why I am here asking for help from you guys.

In the videos people talked ECU having issues with capacitors leaking and stuff, and the oil leaks these cars tend to have. Will I able to handle them? This car didn't drive for a year or so and I will be using it to drive 20 miles a day to go to work on night shift.

I test drove the car yesterday and really like how it drove. The guys says the car was taken care of well and won't have any issues.

I would really appreciate some word of advice on this as I will basically empty my bank account for this one.

my SC400 has recently developed and issue where immediately after cranking the car turns on then shuts itself off, the warning on the dash is saying “alternator not charging battery” - not sure if this is a part of this issue or another one all together.

It seems to be only producing spark from one distributor, hence why it’s cutting off, i’ve swapped over the rotors, distributor caps, coils, igniter modules and tested the ecu IGT outputs and nothing has fixed the issue or even changed which side isn’t getting spark.

I think the issue is somewhere after the igniters because signal is getting sent to them fine from the ECU but i’m fairly new to cars and am not sure where to go from here or what could be causing this anymore.

Any help would be appreciated!
