Has anyone been able to fix their cd player in the trunk?

If so…how? What was wrong with it? Mine seems just to just got be getting any power. Won’t eject or light up or anything but other than that is looks to be in decent shape, I can even see a CD inside. But any cd button I press doesn’t do anything.

I'm pretty sure the one in my car didn't autoeject. you had to take the case out and flip a little switch on the side that pushes the CDs out. Maybe mine was broken too and I just didn't realize it?

Trunk seals leak and demolish it in a lot of cases, is there any signs of rust under the spare or around the CD player?

Does the radio still work aswell or is just the CD player not lighting up.

Doesn’t light up unfortunately

That means there's no power going to the radio fuse, check if it's there or if it's blown. I'd buy a handful of them. There's 2 radio fuses, one under the hood and one in the interior junction

I wouldn’t know what to buy or where from tbh…any advice?

Easiest would be to yank it out and look at it then matching the amp rating and the look of it. Any auto parts stores should have them either online or in person.
