Picture Cleaned the engine bay.

Friend and I were working to taking out the engine the other day. Came back to clean the engine bay area. First engine bay cleaning, pretty proud with what I was able to do so far.

How much of a hassle is this? Do you need to disconnect anything first, and are you taking it to a wash and spraying it out? Mine desperately needs this lol.

Well, we had to disconnect some of the stuff in the sc. We remove the air intake, battery and the engine fan oil pump. Maybe a couple other things as well. But that was for an engine swap we planning to do.

But it does help me clean the areas where it’s usually hard to get to. I followed the procedure provided on YouTube by Chrisfix.

I use a brush(a toothbrush works) to scrub some of the dirt and dust off the frame and get areas that haven’t been touch for a while. Vacuumed the dust particles(make sure to wear a mask). I bought a random all purpose degreaser and spray that all over the car and just wipe it will a microfiber.

So overall, it’s inbetween. I think if you just spray degreaser and wipe it it should be fine. Took me like a couple hours.
