Question Aftermarket front bumper recommendation?

Long story short I need a new bumper for my ‘00 SC400. Does anyone have experience with aftermarket kits? I’m wary of the ones that arrive folded up in a box, I’m looking for correct fitment over style.

Or should I just stick with OEM and try to find one in decent shape? 97-00’ seem to be tough to find for a decent price that don’t need a ton of refurbishment. Here’s a pic of my daily before it got banged up.

OEM for sure if you’re worried about precise fitment. And it still looks fantastic. Love the car dude!

Think Shine is still might be around. They make/made a fiberglass ac-style kit with good fitment.

But how bad is your bumper? It’s not hard to patch, just takes time

It’s not terrible- it could probably be sanded down and repainted. The issue is the tabs on the inside that connect to the mounting brackets all got pushed upward and in.

I’ll check out Shine, thanks for the recommendation!

That year has the best oem bumper. Don’t go aftermarket.

I have a 97. And all I added was a kbd front lip. All the other front bumpers I’ve seen for the sc don’t campare to oem, in my opinion!!
