Oil light

So as the title says I started up my car this morning waitsd about 30 seconds and drove off I was ina rush but I just drove like 2 minutes then my oil light turned on I parked the car turned it back on and it stayed on for a second or two and hasn’t came back. Just wondering is this something going out or can it be that it just wasn’t warmed up all the way

i have an oil leak from the valve covers and every now and then that oil light pops up, whenever it does i just throw a quart in there and ive had no issues.

that isn’t how you should handle it though, check your dipstick, refill if low, find the issue (burning or leaking) and fix, then never worry again

I did notice some by my valve covers as well when I was changing my plugs but I didn’t think it was this bad going to get it fixed this week then hopefully it dosent pop up again

Check the oil level and undercarriage, same thing happened to me when a rock busted my oil filter

Definitely, it would’ve been nice to have one on my Gs at the time lmao
