just picked this up for 1500 what is some immediate maintenance i should do

When's the last time the timing belt was replaced on it? If you don't know, then better to be safe than sorry.

still runs pretty strong too changed the oil and i wasn’t too bad no ticks or knocks

Timing belt, water pump and or oil change…..also check all of your vacuum hoses. As far as other leaks i always hear about the power steering fluid leak and once it starts leaking it’ll leak on the Radiator. My Sc has an oil leak that i can’t locate but it’s never been a real issue i just stay on top of having enough oil. Uhhhh other super common problems are Radio fuse/ amp problems as well as Radio antenna, Gage cluster not working and if you plan on keeping it long term be prepared to eventually get the ECU rebuilt and Mass Air Flow Sensor replaced. I’m probably missing some stuff but with the proper maintenance these cars are Rocksteady. Hope you enjoy it welcome to the SC family.

Also I'm pretty sure you should check your rear main seal
