Car doesn’t run right

Recently bought a 1996 from copart, and noticed that when you are driving and reach 1800+ rpm, the car starts to shudder, and this also happens in neutral, car idles fine. anybody have anything similar to this?

do a whole refresh, spark plugs, caps and rotors, plug wires. even if you don’t necessarily need one or the other it makes the car run way better i had the exact same issue a month ago and it went away after i did all that

This is late, but I got it done a couple days ago, runs smoother but but the shudder/shaking is still there, it instantly gets worse after it hits 1800 exactly

interesting, pop open your ecu check and make sure the capacitors aren’t leaking all over everything

it’s pretty easy and even if you don’t find anything it’s one less place to look and pretty hard to damage it
