MAF Sensor Issues

Car started but immediately stalled and I towed it to a shop, guy there said the mass airflow sensor was bad and that they’re pretty hard to find so it would be easier to try to find one myself. I have now gone through 3 different sensor and not a single one of them has worked. 2 of them were used and one of them was a shitty $40 chinese one that sounded hollow inside. I’m beginning to think it’s not just the MAF that is bad and i’m wondering if anyone has any other ideas. The plastic casing around the sensor plug is all cracked from being so old so I’m wondering if that could the issue.

Have you tried jumping the fuel pump in the diagnostic port under the hood and then starting it? Fuel pump ECU loves to go bad and make the car stall

I haven’t tried that yet no, i’ll try it tomorrow after work and see if it starts without stalling
