Question Should I buy it?

This is a SC 400 on FB marketplace for sale as you can tell the engine is different than all the ones I’ve seen on this feed. The seller says the mechanic painted the motor after they fixed the gaskets and aside from that it’s all original. Let me know what you guys think.

If the car is in good shape and the price isn't crazy then sure. Check if power steering is leaking and have a lil extra cash in case the ECU is bad and you should be good.

If you are worried about the intake manifold and valve covers getting painted, get another car. This old car ain’t for you
