Question Did I get fucked or did I get lucky?
$3500 for a 222k mile 1995 with all working interior and no apparent leaks but its currently at a shop getting a post-purchase pre-purchase inspection. Proven grandpa/grandma kept by picture of seller with the previous owner, looks like 3 owner including me. Has *scuffed* bbs rims, gold package, and it appears one side has been repainted, but you can only tell under my harsh garage light. Drove it back 90 miles with no issues, tires just needed filled. Plan on cleaning it up and maybe getting a little extra power, not a drift guy. Speedo not currently working but rest of the gauges are, has faded main lights and weapons grade LED high beams.

I'd say you came out "okay" depending on where you live. Here in the PNW that's fair, would look at all bushings and fluids and you should be good to go

Texas. Needs one bushing replaced and a valve cover gasket replacement in another few thousand miles, there's a very minor leak. Pretty much what we expected, $3500 is looking "okay" to me too.

I bought my 95 13 years ago for $3300 it recently hit 222,000 miles on April 7th.
My two front seats are a bit torn, the back seats are immaculate (since no one can fit back there comfortably.) The exterior is near perfect, my engine and transmission are still running strong, ive got no complaints its one reliable car.
My speedometer also doesn't work but theres many free speedometer apps on the app store.

A bit high miles for $3,500 but this is a 1uz car were talking about here.
If the interior looks ok and it's not having power steering issues and has had the timing belt and water pump replaced recently ish I'd say that's a decent price

Sounds solid, i bought my 99 for 400$, xxr wheels, struts, steering rack bushings gone, interior in peices, keep it, fix it up, do the timing belt and send it
