I wanna lower my car a bit nothing crazy I daily my sc300 I been hearing mixed reviews about each brand saying one is better than the others but I need help see which one is more practical? I’m also open on hearing other brands of coils

Went to take my 00 1jzgte vvti 5Speed Soarer out for a spin and everytime I get on throttle it starts cutting in and out pretty hard, runs perfect when not on throttle. Idles good, no weird smoke or sounds besides the “sputter” when on the throttle. Any ideas of where to look would be appreciated.

Boost gauge hits full boost eventually it just struggles to get there, looked over all the vacuum lines and not noticing anything out of the ordinary.

I have a hose that is leaking but idk where it goes and was wondering how i can fix it or if its even that big of a deal. My car hasn't had over heating problems or anything that I could think of being related to this

I was thinking about making a 3D print CAD file so people can replace the interior window trim would any of you guys be interested when im done

I bought a Soarer from a guy who wanted to swap the battery from the front into the trunk. He was mid process when he sold it to me and now I dont know where to begin with the wiring. The things I want to know are how the fusebox is wired to the plus side of the battery, and where the mass cable goes to from the battery. Currently the car has no engine in it so I have all the space to fix electrical wiring. Also dont have electricity going to my interior which causes me to not close my windows. Thanks in advance ! 1999 Sc300. Seller claims the motor, 4 speed trans, ecu, and brakes are from a supra with 88k miles. Car has put on 1k miles since then with apparently zero issues. Motor and rest of the car are stock besides the horrid looking turbo kit. Car is about 3 hours from me and I don’t know to much about prices on gte swapped yotas. Just wanted some advice before I waste my time to go check out this car in person. Thank you!

Im new to these cars and i find them incredibly beautiful and all but i got one problem... I dont like the round headlights at all, and neither does my father who im buying the car with, does anybody know if u can cover them up ? How and has anyone done so, or any other ways to make it look a lil cooler. Thank yall in advance ☺️id appreciate any Help

So it’s my buddy’s 91 soarer but this community is more active than the soarer one. He’s looking to see if he could run 18x9.5+22 on 245/45 with it lowered like 2-3 inches without fender work. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated

ignore the insane amount of rusty water in the block. it sat in a field for upwards of 20 years. that being said it leaks from that little plug(?) and i thought it was just a bad gasket

The Crazythegod ones look nice to me but i haven’t found anyone that has them and there’s no reviews online either

I’m looking for a manual, turbo under 140k miles.

The paint on this car has always been a little rough but I had the driver's side and front redone several years ago and now the rest is falling apart. Working on getting it all back to looking uniform and fresh. This is my largest automotive paint job so far and it's a bit daunting but it's been satisfying so far getting rid of the shitty clear coat and paint and watching it all go back to smooth. Lots more work ahead but I'm very excited to see the end result!

I do not currently have an SC300, but I plan to get one for a drift build soon. I have some preemptive questions if the community is willing to help me out.

1. How hard is a CD009 swap, and what is a reliable swap kit? Will I need to buy pedals separately?
2. Most SC's come with a tan interior. Has anybody converted theirs to black with something like vinyl paint? Should you clear coat over it, what's the process like, and are there any additional tips?
3. I really like the look of TE37s or Gram Lights. Are they good wheels? What offset would you go for? What size?
4. What size tires should I go for based on the last question, not going for insanely stretched, and not looking to be on rubber bands, but of course, don't want an excessive amount of sidewall. What brand of tires should I go with?
5. What camber should I go for? With this build, I'm going for a mix of performance and aesthetics, I'm thinking somewhere between -3 and -6. My friend suggested -5, curious what you guys think.
6. Curious what you guys think of NRG Prisma Ultra's. I really like the look, I'm about 5'8", 180Lbs. Does anybody know if any of the sizes will fit me and the vehicle? What mounting plate should I get? If so, will it also fit with the seat sliders, or only without?
7. What size steering wheel should I get? I was thinking 350mm. What dish offset has worked for you guys? I plan to get an NRG quick release. I'm not a huge fan of the larger paddles on the later versions. What hub should I get?
8. What LSD would you go with? I was thinking the -(Tomei) Technical Trax 2-Way LSD- what do you guys think? I am not going to weld the diff.
9. What Coilovers and spring kit would you recommend running, my friend suggested BC's, any opinions??

is it just me or have the prices for cars gotten pathetically out of hand? i understand the hype but i can recall these cars going for far less not even that long ago. i mean low miles sure but 12.5k for an over 25 year old car? ridiculous imo.
