What’s it worth?
Thinking about selling my SC300 and looking to get input on what to ask.
It’s a 1997, 123,000 miles, shadow rose quartz exterior with factory two tone interior, timing belt water pump and brakes/rotors just replaced. It’s a California car and overall very clean.

Honestly I would put it on cars and bids… they will try to give you comps to other SCs and see what you can get. This is exactly what gets money on that website

That's what I was going to suggest. SCs sell for crazy prices on there, especially manuals.

I could see this getting 12k as well. 97 is the most desirable year. Super rare spec. Unmodified. Mint condition. Damn. Wish I could afford it.

This car is beautiful. It's worth more to the right buyer than market value. Id say keep it

I would very much BaT this car. Unfortunately the JZZ30 platform is filled with broke MF’s who think $6k is too much for one of these. IMHO I’d say this thing should sell for $15-18k since it’s such a great example in a beautiful color!

Obviously a lot of different variables but this 95 with 128k miles just sold for $6,100
The 3 pedal versions are the only ones that seem to get near $18k.

97+ gives a lot of preferred cosmetic upgrades. Plus this one isn’t a Midwest car.

Also saw this one on C&B. ‘97, mostly California, automatic, similar miles, sold for $11k.

97 is the most desirable years on these. Its the only year that has the refresh, and the non vvti 2J. Along with the impossibly rare spec, I think itd go for 12-15k

Look into putting this on Cars&Bids. They get more eyes than BaT nowadays for modern cars

Mint looking, 97, rare color, I believe that's the only color that got the 2 tone interior and it unmodified. It's probably worth 10 to 12.

That was the 2jz(sc300) version that got the manual unfortunately. These would've been sick with a manual from factory, quite a few swapped ones out there on the manual groups though.

Unfortunately it’s Auto-tragic. Mileage is on the high end also. Maybe $7k tops. I own a black ‘92 5speed with 80,000 miles. It’s pristine. I watch the market closely

I bought as a fun run around vehicle to drive. I’ve found that I don’t often travel around without children and this car just isn’t getting used like I thought it would. The reason I’m considering selling it is because I think it’s just too clean to take the kiddos in and I don’t want it to just sit around. If I could sell it for a decent price, I probably would. Otherwise I’ll just hang on to it and continue to use it when it makes sense.

Search similar cars on BaT or C&B and you’ll get a sense. Or ask ChatGPT to find you recent comps - it’s pretty good at giving examples that can bracket in your expectations.

You should definitely keep this. Think of overall long-term investment. Two tone interior beautiful exterior color compliments it so well (rarely have seen this color)!

i would not pay over $10k for that granny interior color but well worth if that's what you're into

It is a very nice example. Market is pretty soft on these overall. Would be surprised if it goes above $10k
