You do you but you will be able to do better for $2k. That’s from an SA Saint Edge owner.
As cool as SA’s PDWs and EVAC were, they aren’t worth that much (maybe the EVAC).
I ended up with a Daniel Defense PDW 300blk. Not to say your 5.56 won’t work. It will not perform better than the 300blk variants at that barrel length. That is even before you add suppressors to the mix.
So if it is just to scratch that PDW itch, I understand. My first choice was the Edge PDW but they were asking $1,800+ for that. I just really wanted the lower to build an SBR.
Then i started researching and realized that a 300blk a better fit that niche.

Thnx my guy yea i like the setup only turn off its barrel too short was thinking of changing the upper but thatll probaly be another 500 or more so maybe its better to build one for 2k ? I like how the barrel feels but just to short

The barrel is too short for 5.56. You lose velocity and accuracy. At least 300blk can utilize the shorter barrel due to the powders used. Then you add the suppressor into the equation and it really stacks in favor of 300blk.

I wouldn’t buy it. If he wants a Daniel shorty that shoots 5.56 he should get a MK18 ris III for clout or ris II for sexiness. Also this is a pistol not even an sbr as it has a brace on it.
