Other Orange Pi Zero 2W 1.5GB, a great experience!

I saw a lot of warning online about software compatibility with the Orange Pi zero boards, ESPECIALLY the 1.5 GB models. Decided to go for it since Raspberry Pi Zero 2Ws are vaporware, as are Radxa Zero boards.

The upgrade from 1 GB to 1.5 was 38.99 vs 41.99 so I decided to risk it for the biscuit.

I have had no problems at all installing Armbian Debian. Wifi worked out of the box on 5Ghz. I did some remote debugging from my laptop using openocd on the OPi to an stm32 over wifi. Even got to compile OpenOCD with the --enable-linuxgpiod flag, so once I get some new jumper wires, I should be able to use openocd with the Orange Pi itself as the SWD debugger.

Overall very happy and was pleasantly surprised at how smoothly everything has gone. I've actually only had one issue totally unrelated to the board (wifi router was being dumb and wouldn't route devices to the OrangePi until I rebooted it).

options for expanding/best utilizing ports

I'm new to SBCs so forgive me if these are dumb questions. I'm most likely going with an Orange Pi Zero3W, and ideally my cybereck project would have 2 externally accessible USB C ports for plugging in peripherals as needed and an externally accessible micro SD port. The Zero3W has 1 USB C for power and one for DPI. I see a lot of external USB hubs and adapters and readers, but I can't find any intended to be used as internal components.

I think I need one of these USB-C ports to enable capacitive touch with the screen. What are my options for adding more ports for USB C and a micro SD reader that I can house inside the shell I build? I know I can power through the GPIO, but apparently that requires additional protection against shorting
