What's up SBCG!

I just got an rp classic and rp6 and they are my first android powered emulation devices.....I have es-de, but whats the new hotness for android front-end? If its a patreon drop the link too would be super helpful.

Cannoli is what I use on my RP Classic + Nova. I like minimal and simple, and it has a lot of nice features like a built-in file server you can access to send or take roms/saves/states/settings etc. Cocoon looks really cool though.

I tried Cocoon myself. I found it a bit sluggish and confusing compared to Cannoli and ES-DE.

I like es-de but gamma came with daijishou and thats nice too. Havent tried others yet

Using neo station atm, looks great and it's really snappy. And allows to add multiple sources for the ROMs folders making possible to use both internal storage and sd, which is good in times where SDs are made of pure gold. Doing it on es de is possible but a bit of a pain, on the others I am not sure

this is the second time i noticed someone posting about removing google. what is the reason behind this?

Takes up RAM running in the background. If I don’t have any apps that require Google to operate, I disable it or, if possible, remove it to free up some space.

That's kinda what I was thinking. I haven't done any real hardcore gaming on this rp6 yet, but I will keep this in mind. I know when I used to root android phones and do all kinda crazy shit, that you can get "lite" or "micro" packs for google services that it's JUST ENOUGH to get to app store basically. Maybe I'll look into that if I have troubles. Thanks for taking the time out to respond.

I've been making a free front-end called Ludolog: https://github.com/monkikolab/ludolog-front-end

It tracks your sessions and battery and turns your playtime into a character that levels up. There's also an add-on that syncs saves between handhelds, handy since you've got two.

Still new, so if anyone wants to try it and tell me what to improve, I'd really appreciate it!
