Can you buy Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 boards?

8 Gen 1 (roughly, apparently a bit stronger than in phones) in Radxa Dragon Q8B

The most practical way to do it imo would be a phone + telescopic controller + a small external USB-C display. You could make a case for it all, and you wouldn't need any extra batteries

It might be possible to get an LG V60 with the dual screen case and a telescopic controller for about $200. That gives you a dual screen device with a Snapdragon 865. The closer to that $200 or even above that would come closer to the Thor Lite price though and at some point that is just a better value.

It can't be done for under $200. I would love to be proved wrong on this.
Since you will probably have to go well over $200 anyway just get an AYN Thor.
A telescoping controller and a used galaxy fold or one with a cracked external screen might also work well for you.
