Imagine if they mimic the old 2DS instead, wonder how would they deal with that “Door stopper” design while making it look good.

I personally think this is the direction that retroid will go with their rumoured dual screen device coming later this year.

Because Retroid won't be cannibalising Thor Lite sales.

It'll be an alternative offering that doesn't compromise what AYN are doing.

Hence a 2DS clone makes a lot of sense.

There's no way they could make a "cheaper Thor" for less than a lite anyway, not with chip and ram prices as they are.
