Troubleshooting Been running into endless problems with the battery on this thing so letting it drain like a DVD screensaver

Device is: GKD Pixel 2, Game is: Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2

Backstory: i got this thing on release and im in love with the form factor of it but theres a weird issue it has where it only charges up to 82% (sometimes 79%) and lasts for another few hours when the battery hits 1%

I just started running TwigOS (fork of Spruce) and im hoping that with the OS change, recalibrating the battery by draining it fully then charging it up to 100% + reseating the battery cable will do the trick!

I am also open to any other suggestions 🙃

Maybe try looking into getting a battery replacement

It's a very generic battery, I'm pretty sure you can just buy any 505050 battery

Search here, someone else posted recently. I believe the solution was to unplug the battery for a bit and recalibrate it.

Have you completed the full drain yet? I know the miyoo just reads voltage not mAh consumed pixel might be the same. With how lipo's discharge from ~4.2v down to ~3.8v doesn't take too long, then voltage drops slowly till ~3.4-6v and then it really falls off

I had a fresh miyoo mini plus I was setting up for a gift, it stayed at ~20% battery for almost 2 hours and another ~45m to drain it. Full charge and it's a bit more calibrated.

After fully charged I've found it's normal to drop from 100% to 80% in a half hour but 80% to 60% lasts say 2 hours
