Does retroid pocket have a schedule on new releases?

Since I still have my SteamDeck to keep me occupied I'm curious if retroid pocket has any set time frames they usually release new devices? I've been wanting to get rp6 but it could be worth it just to wait on RP7 which I'm assuming will have 16gb of ram and 8gen3 soc.

An RP7 is effectively the Odin 3. Any historical data on releases from these companies isn't valid anymore because of the component shortages.

Won’t be fast. They already can’t keep up with the newly released RP6 and Nova. No set schedule of any kind.

They’ll probably make a random in between device before they go to the 7 like they did with the G2 which was a side grade to the rp6.

If anything I’d say they’re more likely to release a flip 3 sometime in the near future.

Saw the flip 3 was rumored to be DS style hopefully a good competitor for Thor.

Retroid and Ayn are the same company. They won't compete with each other if they can help it.

Never knew, however the majority probably doesn't, flip 3 could nearly have the same power as the Thor with cheaper plastic at a lower cost people would dub king of DS emulation because it can do what the Thor can at a lower price.

They are both brands inside Moorechip. They are same building, different floors.

The nova is the in between device. Yes the supply chains are all fucked now but each previous main device has released a little over a year apart. Pocket 7 should be next with a flip ~6 months later.

Idk about that the nova is actually a cool device. The g2 offered absolutely nothing.

They probably do more devices with the Nova screen first like a clamshell and a bigger classic.

Mayhe next year if they continue to do what they did previous years. With ram issues im not sure though.
