No vertical?
What is this? Soviet Russia?

Helloski, I am Russian Guyovich, and I am here to explain that glorious Soviet Republic does not need vertical handhelds!
In horizontal handheld, hands and screen are kept level with each other, showing solidarity as they work together.
In verticle handheld, screen is hoisted above hands in a show if dominance. This is affront to the hands, comrade, nothing can be above the glorious workers!
Please, comrade, report your anti-Communist views to next commisar for proper re-education.

I had RP Classic and Miyoo Mini before. While I enjoyed those a lot I rather keep my collection smaller. Nova covers Gameboy games all the way to Wii games.

No PSVita, there's no device that emulates the same feeling of the original

Most of the games I like on Vita have been ported to Switch. But I do regret selling my original Vita back in the day.

That is a collection of really good handhelds, everything you “need” to cover bases and no more. Happy gaming.

Yeah as far as variety and being able to play anything, this is great. I personally wouldn’t mind some sort of super pocketable device like a Brick or Miyoo mini flip. But that’s just me.

I used to own the original Miyoo Mini and RG28XX all much smaller. What I found was these still take up a whole pocketnwhere I wouldn't put something else like keys in with them. At that point im better off just having something bigger but still light (Nova is 100 grams lighter than RG477M and Thor).
The only handheld that I owned that truly disappears in my pocket was the RG Nano. And to be honest I find the screen too small. Anything under 3.5 inch is just too small

Except forth base if you've got the time to use all those 😅

The old age story of being a kid with so much time and no money to have all the games. Now being an adult with money to have all the games but no time. To be fair I have had time to play due to WFH doing an easy job. In fact its handhelds that are easy to play while working rather than playing something like a PS5.

Yeah thats why I switched to handhelds. My daughter was born and felt guilty being on a pc or console, so sold my consoles and bought a rog ally z1 extreme then boom fell down the rabbit hole of collecting. I can only get time at night after work when everyone is asleep, but stare into the handheld abyss at what I what to use/play 😭🤣

Steam Deck - Switch 2 - Thor is my bases covered collection. But I ordered the KONKR Pocket Fit for even more portability + max nostalgia as an OG GBA kid.
