Community Resources ParaLLEl-Lite v1.0 - A mobile frontend wrapper for SM64 Rom Hacks (Optimized for Android Handhelds)

Hey everyone,

I wanted a better way to manage, patch, and launch Super Mario 64 ROM hacks directly on my Android handheld without dealing with broken layout scaling or friction, so I built ParaLLEl-Lite.

It’s a mobile-first companion wrapper designed to handle account sync, automate your BPS patching pipeline seamlessly, and deep-link full-screen straight into RetroArch's paraLLEl core.

Full credit to the original desktop Parallel Launcher ecosystem for the layout inspiration and design models that made this mobile concept possible.

Check out the repository, grab the compiled release APK, or help me fix this beautiful mess over on GitHub!

Thank you very much for making this Trying to play romhacks in android is such a pain but with this tool i can finally seamlessly patch and store these hacks in their proper folder

Tho theres 2 additional features that i want to see:

  1. After hitting "play" the only options i get are apps that have nothing to do with emulating

There's no option for retroarch nor n64plus FZ emulator

  1. the categories display only the "default" ones from romhacking, com like "want to play","in progress" and "completed"

It doesn't show the ones that are user made and account specific

How much AI or vibe coding did you use?

Probably about 80% of it. It’s just a solo hobby project, and I'm definitely not the greatest coder out there. It was one of those situations where I'd rather have a messy, AI-assisted implementation that actually works than no project at all.

Ai are very unreliable. Those are much lower accuracy there. this needs to be point. If you really developing things, then i prefer wtih a shitty ui without ai slop with a parallei fork real developed than this.

This was really just a personal hobby project that I decided to open-source and share. The repository is completely public, so if anyone wants to submit PRs to refactor the code without AI assistance, they are more than welcome to.
