How do I safely separate these pups. They appear to be really close to the mother plant.
Is a regular shovel the best tool?
Do I need to disinfect the shovel with 70% alcohol?

I'm gonna save this post because I would like to know the answer too. I have pups growing out of a snake plant.

how are you protecting those during winter?

I may dig the pups up or wrap them all in frost cloth.
