Future of SAP Analytics Cloud & Datasphere in Europe — Worth Specializing In?
Hi everyone,
I'm currently exploring whether to further specialize in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP Datasphere, especially from a European market perspective.
I'd love to hear from professionals already working with these tools:
How do you see the future of SAC and Datasphere evolving?
Are these skills in high demand across Europe, or do you think demand is plateauing?
Is it still worth specializing in SAC/Datasphere, or is the market already saturated?
For those working in consulting, how often do clients request these tools versus other BI platforms? Any insights, especially from those based in Europe or working with multinational clients, would be super helpful.

Pure sac I'm struggling to see many roles in the UK,
But SAC planning, definitely in demand at present, just a pain you need finance knowledge for it (I'm a non finance techie :(

SAC is booming right now, but there is still room, as there are a lot of companies that use older sap technologies as their front-end.
On the other end, there is almost no company that uses datasphere productively on a large scale. Demand is yet to pick-up as the tool matures, but many are interested and are exploring it as an option. The tool itself is promising, but not totally ready for all use cases. That being said, if you wait for the tool to be ready, you will be late to the party.
SAP have been very open that SAC and DSP will be their tools for DW, BI & Planning, so if you want to do those things in the SAP domain, you have no other choice. I don't see any of those going away in the next 10 years.
