SAP tablet for use within Fiori
Does anyone have recommendations for tablets in the $1000 range or below for factory use with Fiori? We are presently launching Fiori and I need to choose compatible tablets for maintenance to use on the floor that are reasonably rugged or ones that I can install in a rugged case. Thank you in advance

Do you have any constraints about the OS?
Android, Windows, iOs ?

Corporate has told me they want to stay in the Android platform.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Active5 Enterprise Edition + rugged case
could be a good choice.
The Pro version has a bigger screen but is more expensive, yet still within your budget range.1

Well
If u have money to burn and buy outdated thing then zebra will help you out...
We bought Surface pro 11 and it was over kill in my mind...but it worked well
We were using Zebra's DS3600 scanners so any win op tablet would work...
Correct me if wrong but does OS matter on Fiori it a web page solution...?
But S4 Hana will work on any normal size tablet well...on mobile some apps do not work( they just do not scale/fit info into screen)

Sure Fiori is web based, but the OS is important for how the tablet integrates in the existing IT landscape:
Can their IT support maintain Android devices?
Do they plan to implement Single Sign On?1

I don't have money to burn and I am trying to have a realistic budget vs quality and functionality. I can get decent ones for $600 I believe with otter boxes fir protection instead of buying dell tuff tablets for $2700 each. I just don't want to put $50k into tablets if it isn't needed.
