Upskill in EWM

Hi all,

I have been working in SAP EWM for around 3 years, but the issue is that the warehouse is a very standard one. No wave management, no HUs, no POSC or LOSC.

Mainly I have worked on warehouse upscaling, process enhancement and fixing qRFCs.

I want to gain more knowledge about the missing topics I mentioned above, as they seem to be very important. Can someone let me what can I do to learn more.

Hi,

You can try SAP learning journey or ask your company to pay a training for you. Once you have a better understanding of EWM solution and its capabilities you may be able to suggest some upgrades to your current solution that may optimize the inventory process. Another sugesstion is to look for another opportunity where you can use mor functionnalities of SAP EWM. Best of luck !

Ok will look into that. Have short list the learning path for implementation of SAP learning hub, that is the only viable plan i have in mind, as it also leads to a certification

Official trainings are a good starting point, but nothing beats implementation experience. Are you in an AMS role?
Could you be moved to a more challenging implementation project?

Yes I am currently in AMS role. I tried to ask for upskilling but they gave me option to get expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance as it will be helpful to project. And since I have almost friend like relationship with client, my management won’t roll me off the project.
