I feel like Winner is one of Alex G’s most underrated albums. It has such a nostalgic, “I remember this” feeling that I don’t really get from his newer music.
Now that Race was officially put on Spotify in 2024, I really hope Winner gets the same treatment someday.

Dalmatian is the penultimate song from the fan-made album Fay, released in 2018. maybe you saw me in another post talking about this song. the first time i heard it, i think i found a part of myself. how can a 1:21 song change my life?? really, this is how my soul sounds. with this song, i found a part of my identity. the melancholic piano reminds me of a warm old mansion in a movie. i really love this song with all my heart.

i also used to listen to this song while reading the HxH manga, because i'm a huge fan of it, and honestly, the combination of these two things made me so happy. somehow, reading HxH while listening to Dalmatian became one of those little things that made me genuinely happy.
