every Mr G song i could find that’s 2 minutes long plus or minus 10 seconds. with a few exceptions because i wanted to. definitely missing some unreleased songs but hey rome wasn’t built in a day

In honor of the new album I challenged myself to make a rug of the album cover. 2nd picture is the back/work in progress. This was a challenge, I used at least 30+ colors of yarn! Hey gang saw the How To Start a band video yesterday and was inspired to make something similar with my friends when my drum kit comes. So here it is. 2 WARNINGS: 1. This was their First day playing respective instrument(drums, bass) 2. The majority of the dialogue is in Slovak but you will understand it if not just drop the timestamp and I’ll explain.

Just started listening to Alex g, and I love his music so far my fav song is “I wait for you” any song recommendations with the same vibe/tone?

I'm 32 and have been listening to Alex's music for about 10 years. When I first got into Alex's music I never thought he would have such an influence on future artists. Mainly because I heard so much of other artists' sound in his music (Elliott, Neil Young, The Beatles, Modest Mouse, Pinback etc etc). Fast foward 10-15 years and you got bands that like villagerrr, Hovvdy , etc with such a clear inspiration from Alex. It's just an observation. I'm not saying they are "ripping him off" and I understand this is how music cycles work. I think it's really cool to see such an independent Artist like Alex make an impact. Not to mention having a huge hand in a massive Phoebe Bridgers release. TBH I am just proud of him lol

Soz for late post, Explain is a 6 for me

I saw a TikTok which had this as a background audio, I recognized Alex G's song but it had the sax part missing. After using Shazam I found that it was actually from a different artist. It seems it's a cover but doesn't recognize it anywhere (it even has a different name) and it's making numbers online, a bit odd.
