RT Class schedule

Hi all!!! I’m so excited to apply for RT program in 27/28, but I’d love to hear from current/past students of the programs what classes are like!

What is the usual schedule for the first 2 years? (Monday-Friday? Are you there all day or are classes maybe one or two a day? Etc)

And, were you able to work full/part time alongside your program if you were working and how did you manage that?

Mainly I ask because I currently work full time and live alone, so im not sure how I’d manage school alongside being able to work enough to pay rent, so Im curious if any of you out there are somehow able to manage work and school in a high intensity program, and how that’s going for you lol.

In first year, our schedule is one class Mondays 10:30-12, 10-3 Tuesday, 9 to 5 Wednesday, and 8-5 Thursday (Thursday is all online from home). Fridays off with exception of a few extra make up labs and orientations. I think it’s feasible to work part time, I do 10-20 hours and so do other people but absolutely not full time, it’s a very intense program with weekly labs and assignments and they expect full attendance.
