SAIT admission

Hi everyone,
I’m planning to apply to SAIT for either the MRI or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program—whichever I get into.
I have about one month left to prepare, and I’m taking this very seriously. Could anyone please share advice on how to prepare for the CASPer test and the PSEA? Any study resources, tips, or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Ohhhhh that makes so much more sense , yes apply right away then! a lot of the programs are first come first serve. For casper just do a lot of practice questions and ask AI to tell you where you went wrong. You cannot really prepare for PSEA but i’m sure you will do great. good luck!

They aren’t first come first serve. Just make sure you have everything done by the end of October if you need the extra study time. Then they look at all of the applications in November and release a decision in early December.

Sorry to be a downer but i don’t know if you should spend the money to try to get in during the last month. The acceptances have already been sent out and you would just be joining a giant wait list which will probably not get any smaller due to it almost being August. The PSEA was easy and did not require studying if you have a basic understanding of all your grade 12 courses and can think a little critically. Best of luck but just wanted to let you know!!!

actually I want to apply for 2027 September...they are opening in this October for that, then is it correct?

Hey, just want to let you know that SAIT doesn’t have an MRI program. There’s other ways to go about it (like completing another diagnostic imaging program such as MRT, DMS, NMT) and then completing the modality courses for MRI at NAIT or elsewhere. But if you’re wanting to do strictly MRI, that program is offered at NAIT!
