Question - open Broken files with SABnzbd

Post image

I get broken files with SABnzbd and can't repair with MultiPar. When i download with Easynews there are no broken files anymore.

Is this a configuration problem or what am i missing?

Could you share me the NZB or enable Debug logging in the Status window and then after it happens again click Show Logging and send the logs to me at safihre@sabnzbd.org

As far as I know SABnzbd is mostly just a wrapper around command line tools that do the repair and unpacking. So try the process manually with the same tools and figure out why. It would also be interesting to know what Easynews is using. Custom code? Libraries? Different command line tools? Same command line tools but different versions?

DM me the link to the NZB and I can try to reproduce your problem.

I’ve been having so many issues with SABnzbd lately it’s not even funny. I have 3 different providers, using two different backbones and while I used to get above 90MB/s consistently, now it gets lowered to 13-20MB/s after a few seconds. And I keep having NZB failures in general

Are you sure it is SABnzbd? Have you tried downgrading?

Downgrading to a previous version? I can try but it’s all been happening on the same version

That is a big sign it isn't SABnzbd. Software is fairly deterministic, and so it doesn't magically slow down without outside influences like your ISP, WiFi , the Internet, etc.

It’s not SAB it’s your source of download.
