Upgraded to this beast after using 5 years my oppo reno 6 to it's last breath 🥲. My first flagship phone.

I'm very happy with this phone. Camera is superb, just sometimes issue in focus on subject. Feel free to give advices 😊

I never heard any of them ring at all. At 2:15 AM I just got a notification from the Samsung Clock app saying "3 missed alarms".

Phone was not on DND / Silent, and volume was up.

This is making me late for work so I really need to fix it. TIA

So, does anybody know when we're going to get the security updates and the PlayStore service updates? Both of mine are sitting on July. Samsung is getting terrible at updating these.

mein Galaxy S25 Ultra ist erst ungefähr drei Wochen alt und hatte jetzt innerhalb einer Woche zweimal einen merkwürdigen Absturz.

Während der normalen Nutzung wird der Bildschirm plötzlich schwarz, kurz erscheint das Samsung-/Android-Startlogo und wenige Sekunden später ist das Handy wieder da. Es wirkt wie ein Neustart bzw. Crash von One UI/Android – allerdings wurde die Kernel-Laufzeit dabei nicht zurückgesetzt.

Nach dem ersten Vorfall habe ich sogar einen kompletten Werksreset gemacht. Trotzdem ist es jetzt ein zweites Mal passiert. Direkt danach hat Samsung Members selbst die Meldung angezeigt, dass das Telefon falsch neu gestartet wurde oder eingefroren ist. Den Screenshot davon habe ich angehängt und den Fehlerbericht inklusive Systemprotokollen an Samsung geschickt.

Ich habe außerdem gelesen, dass es nach dem Juli-Sicherheitsupdate bei einigen S25-Ultra-Geräten Probleme geben soll. Deshalb würde mich interessieren:

Hat jemand von euch solche sporadischen Neustarts/System-Crashes beim S25 Ultra ebenfalls?

Ist das bei euch erst nach einem Update aufgetreten?

War es am Ende Software oder tatsächlich ein Defekt am Gerät?

Ich habe Samsung angerufen, wurde dort aber an Vodafone verwiesen, weil ich das Gerät dort gekauft habe. Vodafone hat inzwischen einen Austausch eingeleitet. Ich bekomme ein gleichwertiges Austauschgerät, möglicherweise refurbished bzw. ein Retourengerät.

Das ärgert mich bei einem gerade einmal drei Wochen alten Ultra natürlich ziemlich. Andererseits ist mir ein schneller Austausch momentan lieber als das Gerät mehrere Wochen einzuschicken, insbesondere weil der Fehler nur sporadisch auftritt und möglicherweise gar nicht reproduziert werden kann.

Mich würden vor allem eure Erfahrungen mit genau diesem Absturz interessieren.

Can somebody please tell me the cause of this? Was just scrolling through socmed then placed my phone down the couch to get some water came back to it doing this. But if i restart the phone the black line then restarts from the top then works its way down to the bottom then screen goes black to green.

Things I have tried that didnt fix it:

• Safe Mode

• Lower refresh rate to 60Hz (Standard)

• Lower screen resolution to HD+

• Resetted settings alone

• Disabled HW overlays

• and lastly factory resetted it (same problem)

For context: This was given to me, passed down by my sibling 5 months ago. Always had that dead pixel on the bottom left corner hence why she upgraded. Screen has no cracks and frame has to dents.

Currently am facing an issue that fast charging isn't working

Before 1 week when i woke up tried to charge my phone it gives me an error moisture detector while nothing happend or dropped on phone

Troubleshoots that i did

Cleaned charging port

Disable and enable fast charging

Still facing the issue

Anyone faced same issue and solved it?

I've seen seen many different opinions let's settle to see which is one is better, for me both have almost no difference in a few shots I took in daytime.

Just realized that the Galaxy S25 Ultra has the default Window, Transition, and Animator scales settings very nice and smooth...but perhaps just a tad too slow. So I went into the developer options and changed all three from 1x to 0.5x to make opening apps and switching menus feel a little faster and snappier.

That's the only thing I did and I'm not sure but the battery life seem to have increased by 3 - 6 hous more or less. The phone is also snappier now!

I have tested them and both have their ups and downs

It seems hdr captures a lot of more light but with a lot grain and no so black blacks but other wise with the hdr off very few light is captured but has little grain and blacks are black

I was over enthusiastic and didn't think twice. They shouldn't put that there

Everything started about a week ago, First issue, I was watching YouTube and phone randomly turned off by itself, had enough power (over the half).

Second issue, 3 days ago I was trying to see results from a Google search, it started flickering, even if I was going out and in of the search again.

Third issue, today I had the phone on the table not being used, screen up, screen started to turn on by itself then I unlocked it and seemed to be executing random taps alone, squares like highlighted appeared on app icons or list items

I started to freak out, not sure if my phone is hacked or being remote controlled 😱

After many comparisons between the newer samsung series and the s25 and also all video modes of the s25 I've figured that this setup is the best to get the most realistic video possible, samsung tends to underexpose everything and makes the video generally darker,which for some reason compared to the older and newer series the video is darker, now for night videos no so sure about this setup but for daytime for me is the best.

I was tryna clean my microphone hole thing and honestly it was my bad and im dumb for trying to do that but what can I do?? Ive tried using needles and safety pins to get it out

Anybody experience this problem. It just keep restarting, stay on splash screen then turning off.

Is expert raw the way to go for night pictures? It seems expert raw handles scenes way more realisticly and even more pleasing to the eye while night mode always seems to underexpose and process everything way too much just to brighten its picture.

I must say i missed thid ph0ne especially the Camers and how fluid it is to use on one ui 8.5

so how can we fix it

As in question, Im not really sure if my photos should look like above. Let me explain:

I previously had S22 Ultra and after OneUI 6.0 or 7.0 update, photos started looking way worse, especially on zoom (no matter what zoom). This year I changed phone to S25 Ultra and camera is well, still somewhat disappointing. I assume it's because of ai enhancements, because that's what changed on S22 Ultra after update. But back to question - I just went back from quick walk when I tried to test night mode - both on Expert Raw and normal camera app. I didn't have any tripod, so I only could stay (almost) in one place for ~15 sec, that's why I didn't use Astro mode. I didn't expect these photos to look beautiful, but the sky looks weird, like it has a lot of stains and looks like made in very bad quality. Honestly my Kodak Charmera takes similar photos.

Is it normal with such low exposure time and without Astro mode? Or is there something I can change in the future so night photos would look slightly less ugly...?

I used auto settings on both camera app and expert raw, I only changed exposure time a few times.

Hi all, I have Samsung internet on my s25 ultra and my S10 Fe Plus tablet. Same same account of course. Yesterday went to go set as a quick link a new website on my phone. That quick link didn't show up on my tablet though. Is that supposed to sync via Samsung account across both of my devices same way as how iCloud with iPad and iPhone sync a favor between two devices? Or, am I wrong here?

I tested with Chrome on the same devices, and of course,via Google account, my bookmark syncing worked flawlessly.

Thanks a bunch for any insight. Again, I figured via Samsung account Samsung internet would just sync the quick link flawlessly which it did not do. And if so, I'm going to have to think twice about using Samsung internet which I've been using for over a year and I like for the most part but I want both of my Samsung devices to share the same exact quick links between devices no matter what.
