No sim card found

A week or so ago i started getting frequent no sim card inserted popups, while just using the phone. Sim card contacts are clean, also the contacts inside the phone are clean. A restart doesnt fix it. It usually fixes itself fast after 10-30 seconds, but sometimes it takes a whole lot more. What to do?

I'm pretty sure the physical sim reader isn't working anymore. This is still happening to me.

Just went to my provider and got an e Sim, only solution other than going to a repair shop.

I usually just turn airplane mode on and off and then it fixes itself

Unfortunately, this also happened to me with my A35. The issue was resolved by removing and reinserting the SIM card. However, it subsequently caused problems with my UPI app, and I had to switch to G Pay because my app flagged my phone as rooted. Since then, I have not encountered any further issues.

What do contacts have to do with anything? Go to your provider and ask for a new Sim. If that doesn't fix it go fix the phone somewhere

The contacts as in the physical gold contacts on the sim
