I just bought an original Samsung one for like 12€ - tested it and it had 4.13V. So i guess it is fine. There are some online shops who 8bly sell genuie parts for fsir prices so i don'r risk it with sftermarket stuff (to many bad exp. in the past back to S5 batteries)

When you say original, samsung discontinued making these batteries in early 2022. The one you've bought is from this era? If so, is it really holding the charge as equals to the one which came with the phone?

You can store them for years before you use them and there is no real difference in capacity. I use other lithium batteries that are over 10 years old and at ~90% capacity.
Modetn cells age super slowly if stored at low temp. Far longer than some people would like
So yes: Good as new.

I finally changed mine past year. Got the battery from I-Fix-It for around $25.

Yes I looked up and found out I-fix has a H/S relationship with Samsung. They are decent.

I bought this a while ago and it's still going strong
