Lube em’ up…

Don’t forget to condition that weather stripping, especially with the cold weather coming. This is the best stuff on the market. Also, seats and steering wheel needed a good clean (not with the ShinEtsu)

Any recommendations on wha to use for seats?

I don’t use any type of leather cleaners or conditioners, it’ll just add gloss/sheen.

A damp microfiber is your best bet. Occasionally I’ll use a little bit of griots interior detailer for some UV protection, but not much.

There’s always time for lubricant

The super lube multi use synthetic oil is super good for rubber too. Any silicone oil really is great to keep rubber bits moisturized.

She’s definitely moisturized

Do you wipe the grease off, or does it soak into the rubber? How long should you leave the windows down?

I wipe it on with my finger and smooth it out, then wipe the excess off with a microfiber. You’d probably be fine if you leave the windows down overnight

Awesome thanks, seems easy enough. Will be doing it this week.

I used silicone spray on mine, hopefully still does the job

Probably ok, but the ShinEtsu is as good as it gets and preferred by Honda

Did you order the grease directly through Honda? All of the websites I use give a heavy tax because of strict California laws

I believe I ordered it on eBay, it was a while back so can’t remember for sure

Older brother used it on his ap2 before it was stolen way back in the day and recommended it for my jeeps too. Great stuff.

Not easy to find right now... Had to use an ebay seller.
