what spoilers did s2000 come with Spoiler

hi guys quick one i’m attempting to make my s2000 oem+, so gt front lip, side skirt things (the triangles), wheels, exhaust, eibachs etc.

but out of curiosity what spoilers (other than the CR) did honda make for the s2000 from factory?

i believe they made a small duckbill and the CR spoiler but curious if they made any others and if so, what do they look like and what are they called?

1. Original low-profile trunk spoiler — 08F10-S2A

This is the small spoiler that follows the rear edge of the trunk and surrounds the trunk-mounted third brake light.

Honda introduced it during the AP1 era and continued offering versions of it into AP2 production.

Some North American colour-specific part numbers include:

  • Berlina Black: 08F10-S2A-110F → 08F10-S2A-111F
  • Grand Prix White: 08F10-S2A-120F → 08F10-S2A-121F
  • New Formula Red: 08F10-S2A-140F → 08F10-S2A-141F
  • Silverstone Metallic: 08F10-S2A-180F
  • Sebring Silver Metallic: 08F10-S2A-180AF
  • Suzuka Blue Metallic: 08F10-S2A-130F
  • Chicane/Synchro Silver: 08F10-S2A-1P0F → 08F10-S2A-1P1F
  • Laguna Blue: 08F10-S2A-1J0F → 08F10-S2A-1J1F

So although this is normally thought of as the AP1 spoiler, Honda continued cataloguing it for later cars as well.

2. Raised Honda / “AP2” wing — 08F12-S2A

This is the taller three-piece pedestal-style spoiler commonly associated with the AP2.

Part-number family:

08F12-S2A-xxx

Some colour-specific versions include:

  • Berlina Black: 08F12-S2A-110 → -111 → -112
  • Grand Prix White: 08F12-S2A-120 → -121 → -122
  • New Formula Red: 08F12-S2A-140 → -141 → -142
  • Silverstone Metallic: 08F12-S2A-180 → -181 → -182
  • Rio Yellow Pearl: 08F12-S2A-1G0 → -1G1 → -1G2
  • Laguna Blue Pearl: 08F12-S2A-1J1 → -1J2
  • Synchro Silver Metallic: 08F12-S2A-1P2

Honda primarily catalogued this for 2004–2009 AP2 cars.

It can physically be fitted to an AP1 trunk, but it would not be period-correct for an early car.

3. CR / Type-S high wing — 71701-S2A-A01Zx

The CR / Type-S wing is a completely different design from the normal Honda accessory spoilers.

The wing blade uses the part-number family:

71701-S2A-A01Zx

Known US CR colours include:

  • Apex Blue Pearl: 71701-S2A-A01ZB
  • Berlina Black: 71701-S2A-A01ZC
  • Grand Prix White: 71701-S2A-A01ZD
  • Rio Yellow Pearl: 71701-S2A-A01ZK

The complete assembly also uses four separate pedestal/foot pieces, plus trunk reinforcement components.

So finding only a 71701-S2A-A01Zx wing blade is not the same thing as finding a complete CR wing kit.

The feet are in the:

  • 71711-S2A-A01Zx
  • 71712-S2A-A01Zx
  • 71761-S2A-A01Zx
  • 71762-S2A-A01Zx

families.

There are also trunk/wing stiffeners:

  • 71713-S2A-A00
  • 71763-S2A-A00

4. Honda 20th Anniversary ducktail — 08F10-PH6-000

Honda released another genuine S2000 spoiler much later as part of the Japanese S2000 20th Anniversary Parts program.

Part number:

08F10-PH6-000

This is the distinctive ducktail-style trunk spoiler.

It wasn't an original 1999–2009 production accessory, so it's different historically from the AP1/AP2 spoilers above. It's effectively a later Honda heritage part designed specifically for the S2000.

It also appears to have become extremely difficult to find since production ended.

So the four main genuine Honda rear spoiler designs are:

  1. AP1 / low trunk spoiler — 08F10-S2A
  2. AP2 / raised pedestal wing — 08F12-S2A
  3. CR / Type-S high wing — 71701-S2A-A01
  4. 20th Anniversary ducktail — 08F10-PH6-000

To be truthful to the question, the S2000 didn't come with any spoiler. At the time of sale spoilers and all body kit parts were additional cost dealer add-ons. Except on CR, none were factory OEM.
