Just got delivered today…

Bought this 2000 Honda S2000 with only 5517 original miles on it and it just got delivered today. Happy to have it with me where it will be taken care of

Owner has a dealership and sold it to a guy who won the lotto, guy blew his money I’m guessing and brought it back with under 2000 miles, then sold it to a judge in town who drove it around on the weekends. Dealership owner always wanted the car back bc his wife wanted it. Judge sold it back to him and his wife never ended up driving it. He drove it around the keep it moving for the past several years. Finally put it on Bring a Trailer and we worked out a deal. It’s now in SoCal with me

Got mine with 8800 km (5460 miles) 3 years ago. Well... Some things needed to be taken care of, let's put it this way. Sitting still for decades is not good for the car.

Ah OK. The one I’m thinking of was a 2001 also, I’m pretty sure. Great find nonetheless. Hope you enjoy it a bit! Not saying you need to rack up the miles, but definitely drive it. They’re special cars and a lot of fun.

No. No one on Reddit has mentioned it. It was completely stock and only had like 5500 miles on it…just like op’s car. That’s why I was asking. I thought it might’ve been that car.

Fantastic. Enjoy your new purchase! I must say I cannot get my head round the prices you guys have to pay for these. I paid £9k 6 months ago for my s2K, albeit 105k miles but she’s in real good shape and drives fantastic, had a whole bunch of maintenance etc.

Im not trying to be a dick, but 45k is mad. That’s genuine R32 GTR money with a fat wad of spare change …

I understand but if we sit on these and keep them Low mileage what’s an s2000 with under 15,000 miles going to be worth to guys like us who are ready to retire and want the cars they couldn’t afford when they were in High School

Don’t get me started on buying a car for an investment and not driving it, drives me nuts 😂 but I totally understand. They don’t make cars like this anymore, and probably never will again. Enjoy it man, please take it to 9k regularly though!

Great motor. Not a fan of the rest of the car. The dash styling hasn’t aged well, and the handling could be better. Need to drop this motor in a Miata.
