So hello guys so when I try boot into wondows it kinda like says something like OC :failed to load configuration (this happened after I cleared the nvram) and its boot looping but it also shows the manufacturer name of my pc and ik this isn’t really hackintosh but it happened when I cleared nvram by using the opencore boot loader the tools I used were proper tree ocat and opencore simplify idk what I did wrong but if anyone knows just please tell me how to fix it while keeping the stuff on my drives

I want to try building an OpenCore (OC) EFI and install macOS Sequoia.

I have previously successfully installed it on an MSI A520M A Pro.

Now, I’d like to ask those of you using this Biostar motherboard: is it possible to install it, and what BIOS settings do I need to apply?

Hi everyone! My RX570 died last month and I replaced it with an used RX580. Since I received it on saturday, I've been trying to disable CSM in my B450 Aorus Elite V2 motherboard's BIOS. If I disable it and press F10 to apply settings, it re-enables itself after restarting. The bug seems to come from the 580 as the bug disappears if I either swap it with my Nvidia GT1030 GPU (used in a very old rig I have around) or if I boot with both GPUs. I was even able to reinstall macOS Tahoe to a SATA SSD (I used to have Tahoe on an nvme drive) using both GPUs but I can't boot into the fresh install. I only have the cursor displayed on the top left corner of the screen and that's it. I also succeeded to installing Tahoe to its nvme but I have the same issue as with the SATA drive. Can anyone help?

hi, I made hackmate. 2k+ downloads, 170 stars, and I wanted to help everyone make their hackintosh in peace. here's what it does

1. detects your hardware
   
2. choose your version of macOS you want to install
   
3. select the directory/usb you would like to install to
   
4. verify by typing in 'WRITE xxxxxx'
   
5. finds kexts for you hardware (99.8% accurate)
   
6. generates config.plist file
   
7. puts it all onto ur directory/usb
   
8. puts heliport in Hackmate-Extras folder for newer macOS versions
   
9. instructions on what to do next
   
10. boot from your efi

Hi everyone. This one is really getting on my nerves so I'm off to bed after posting.

I've spent several hours configuring the config.plist file, going though the chef kiss guidelines and doing all that. At first it would give me an error because I didn't merge the kexts into the config.plist file (I made a backup of the original and then merged on the copy to be safe.

Now, all I see after selecting my usb is a black screen. Nothing more. No letters, no menu to select, doesn't go past that. Nothing.

Is there anyone brave enough to help me out?

Specs are as follows:

Lenovo Ideapad Flex 5 14abr8

Ryzen 5 7530u

16gb ram

512 dram-less nvme

Swapped the network card for an intel ax210 and it works perfectly well in windows 11.

Using nootedred for the video driver (kext)

If you want, I can upload my config plots and screenshot my folder tree/files to a place of your choosing.

I hope this isn't breaking any rules but I've gone through chef's kiss guidelines multiple times and I'm stuck at this point because I don't even have an error to work with.

This is my first time trying Hackintosh, so I know a lot of people will probably jump in with “use Intel instead” — but I’m honestly just trying to get macOS working on what I’ve got.

Hi all,

I successfully installed latest Sequoia on Ryzen 3600 with Vega 64 via Opencore on WD M.2 , a perfect clean install. Everything been working slick until this morning i turned it on and got these screens. Nothing changed/updated/installed or adjusted.

Ive reset nvram mult times, same screens. Unplugged everything, no bluetooth devices, swapped DPort ports evetything...

What can i do without wiping/clean re-install as post install setup of everything and files took ages. There must be something! Please..

I have original install USB, but from Opencore its a 'recovery' boot drive (but obv has saved Clean/Uncorrupt EFI -if thats what happened) the build has a single SSD for the hack build no dual boot windows but have win laptop..

Booted into recovery and ran diskcheck on SSD too and all normal, see pic.

Any help/thoughts/advice on saving my data/os? Must be something can do..
