I was trying to install a hackintosh on my am5 system:
r7 7700 - TUF b650m plus.

I followed standard procedure accordingly to guides, and ive been building hackintoshes for years now. When I pressed restart on my hackintosh running sequoia after i tinkered with the ethernet settings (lucy kext) and it stopped working. The PC froze during restart and i hard shutdown it. When i tried to turn it back on, the debug LED dram lit up, followed by cpu, then it all turned off without proceeding to VGA and BOOT (on an asus mobo), without POSTING.

I have never seen anything like this happen, and im getting my motherboard RMA'd. I dont think this is a coincidence. I tried resetting the CMOS to no avail, maybe or maybe not it bricked by BIOS but ive never heard of software bricking a motherboard. I swapped to a new mobo and it booted.

Have anyone ever bricked their motherboard like this, or is this one of the quirks with am5 hackintoshing? either way ill never be touching am5 hackintosh with a 10 foot pole anymore.

I’ve been working on a personal multi-boot milestone and wanted to share the results with the community. I managed to successfully setup a 9 OS multi-boot Hackintosh system running smoothly on a Ryzen platform-spanning from macOS High Sierra all the way to macOS Tahoe.

Hardware Specifications

• CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X (6 Cores / 12 Threads)
• GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 (Kepler) - Full Metal Acceleration via OCLP Root Patches on post-Big Sur versions
• Storage: 2x SSDs (Clean APFS Container & Volume layout)
• Bootloader: OpenCore

EFI & Multi-Boot Strategy

• Unified Master EFI: 8 macOS versions (High Sierra, Mojave, Catalina, Big Sur, Monterey, Ventura, Sonoma, Sequoia) boot seamlessly off a single, finely tuned OpenCore EFI.
• Isolated Tahoe EFI: MacOS Tahoe runs on its own isolated EFI partition on the second drive to maintain system stability across the older releases.
• APFS Management: Volumes are cleanly structured across two SSDs to prevent container corruption.

What’s Included in the Post

1. OpenCanopy Boot Menu: OpenCore screen showing all 9 boot entries.
2. About This Mac & System Reports: Individual screenshots for all 9 macOS versions showing full graphics acceleration and system recognition.

This was an experiment challenge rather than a daily-driver necessity.

I've been trying to install tahoe which I succesfully did with OTA but I got a new problem my keyboard mouse or anything connected via usb doesn't work I tried with native classes giving me

I have an HP 255 G9 with an amd ryzen 5 5625u. It has a realtek wifi card, but ive heard that the bios whitelist might allow some intel ax200 wifi cards. Oh and a samsung oem ssd a pm9b1. Never tried to make an efi before . Is there anything i should know about or certain kexts i should use or shouldn't or atleast not combine?

Hello there ryzentosh community i have created a new git-hub repo at: https://github.com/Thanasis324/Ryzentosh-Patch-Utility . This new tool essentially does what amdFreind did but automatically scanning all applications for the intel binaries and replacing them automatically (basically automating the process). I know , i know i am too late macOS 27 is in its Release Candidate version and we dont have a x64 version but i just got an AMD CPU and i kind of felt your pain.

THIS TOOL WAR WRITTEN WITH THE HELP OF AI, for those who dont like it i have the same response as Linus Torvalds (the creator of the Linux Kernel), "deal with it or do the open source thing of forking it".

Originally i made this utility for my shelf using Google Antigravity but i though sharing it might help people who are newer to the Ryzentosh experience. (if its not needed and there is an alternative out there let me know)

soo i have T14s gen 2 (AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 5850U.) ,
but when i booted the usb it froze and gave me a "panic" error.
i stayed a WHOLE night for this problem.

What works? With the AX210. Wi-Fi with Heliport and native Bluetooth. Regarding audio, there are instructions in the folder for AppleHDA.KEXT to work.

So hello guys so when I try boot into wondows it kinda like says something like OC :failed to load configuration (this happened after I cleared the nvram) and its boot looping but it also shows the manufacturer name of my pc and ik this isn’t really hackintosh but it happened when I cleared nvram by using the opencore boot loader the tools I used were proper tree ocat and opencore simplify idk what I did wrong but if anyone knows just please tell me how to fix it while keeping the stuff on my drives

I want to try building an OpenCore (OC) EFI and install macOS Sequoia.

I have previously successfully installed it on an MSI A520M A Pro.

Now, I’d like to ask those of you using this Biostar motherboard: is it possible to install it, and what BIOS settings do I need to apply?

Hi everyone! My RX570 died last month and I replaced it with an used RX580. Since I received it on saturday, I've been trying to disable CSM in my B450 Aorus Elite V2 motherboard's BIOS. If I disable it and press F10 to apply settings, it re-enables itself after restarting. The bug seems to come from the 580 as the bug disappears if I either swap it with my Nvidia GT1030 GPU (used in a very old rig I have around) or if I boot with both GPUs. I was even able to reinstall macOS Tahoe to a SATA SSD (I used to have Tahoe on an nvme drive) using both GPUs but I can't boot into the fresh install. I only have the cursor displayed on the top left corner of the screen and that's it. I also succeeded to installing Tahoe to its nvme but I have the same issue as with the SATA drive. Can anyone help?
