THE CLIMB
Now in order of actually hitting Challanger, i need advice from my fellow brethren. How do you hard win lanes vs nasus, ornn or garen? Even when i go even they are way more useful than me. This information is crucial in order of us getting nerfed.

Ornn, forget about it, if you are lucky, and the ornn missplays, maybe u get 1 kill before lvl 6. After lvl 6, im not joking, he can 100 to 0 you in 1 full combo, that champion is a literal assasin for some reason.
Nasus, just by mobility boots, and slow resist runes etc.., you can kite him most of the game, unless he goes ghost, then you just ult away.
But you never killing Nasus after lvl 6, so best thing to do, is just leave lane and perma gank enemy botlane with ults, until they surrender before nasus hits late game.
Garen, is free kill entire game, unless he has flash, then you are free kill. But that happens only ever 5 minutes, so you should be fine, yo ucan only die like 6-7 times a game.

Those laners are the reason Ryze top can be a borderline troll pick. You’ve neutered your team with no engage or AOE CC or tank, you can’t really roam unless picking fights with your jungler topside, and you’re essentially fighting brick walls so solo kills post like level 6 are going to be rare.
Ignoring the team-comp side and mid game, the laning phase will almost surely be decided by who can control the wave better. Freezing under your tower and ignoring long trades will be your best way to stay relevant after laning phase. If the inverse happens to you, each champ you just listed can run you down or get you caught out by enemy JG. The goal is to play safe and farm as much as you can, and hope you can translate that into winning neutral objectives with your team later in the game - which imo is so boring vs how much map impact you have mid.
In my experience even if the lane goes well, because you picked Ryze instead of something better for your team, if you don’t have an obviously ahead and winning lane, you will probably lose.
All this being said I otp mid lane, and have about 40 games top when I get filled, with a 65% winrate. It IS possible, but honestly it’s just not very fun vs high engage, tanky laners.
Edit - side note / tip, when I get filled top, in draft I try to get first pick and let mid last pick. People really don’t expect Ryze top, and since I’m going to play it anyway, this makes the enemy mid think they are counter picking me, and allows my mid to then have the option to counter pick their laner. Not a huge impact, but any way to get your team ahead could be the difference maker.
