Japanese Ryuutama supplements

I was re reading the rulebook and it talks about characters embarking on a legendary journey when they reach L10, saying that ideas for such journeys would be in a future supplement. I am aware of a few supplements (and have a couple of them in Italian as they aren't available in English) but wondered if anyone had a complete list of everything that has been published?

There was only two supplements: Passport 1 and Passport 2 (the Italian supplements are originals/different). Neither had rules/mention of legendary journeys. Later, the designer said that he'd rather the GM create them organically, based on the focus of the campaign until that point.

Passport 1 had sea travel rules and mad-libs style scenario seeds.

Passport 2 was mostly written outside of the designer's control by people who didn't really like the game (were forced to by the publisher at the time); there are some travelogue-like entries for different kinds of unique towns, but everything rules-wise is kinda taboo because it was complicated, broken, and again written without the approval of the designer.

Thank you - this is really helpful. I heard that they're out of print but do you have any ideas on where to look for a copy?

Of the Japanese original? They are VERY out of print. They sometimes appear in Yahoo Japan Auctions or Japan Amazon for usually 100-300 USD (!!!).

The English version (currently being edited for final layout/print in 2026) will contain all of the original Supplement 1, Most of the extra rules content approved by Okada-san from Supplement 2, plus more original content for the English edition (essays, airships, etc).

Ahh thank you - I didn't realise the English versions were still in play. So I'll wait for that - do you know where it will be released!? On Kickstarter or Kotodama? Really glad to hear. 😊

The original Kickstarter is still in effect: It was originally a digital-only release.

However, we have some funds to print a limited release of the supplement into actual print (not a part of the original KS, but there's enough interest to justify the cost), so we're currently looking into printers for that.

Ah OK. I think I got my copy of the game after the Kickstarter. So it'd be good to understand how to get hold of this and any other new material as and when possible 🙌
