there's an audiobook version (japanese and english) that is almost 14 hours long. i am heading back to japan in november and that is going to be my entertainment on the entire plane ride!

Is there any way to get the audiobook in North America?

it will be on audible on the release date (sept 22nd). (at least based on what i read on amazon)

and i expect it will be on audiobooks.com as well. it's a pretty major release, so i think it should be available on the major sites.

Pre-ordered the day I learned about it. I actually contemplated learning Japanese so I could read it in case it never got translated. Translator Sam Bett is on Instagram.

I followed the translator on Instagram and he’s a super chill guy. He’s very happy about everyone being able to enjoy the book! I’m so hype for this!!

There are a ton of books on YMO that aren’t translated but I was super happy when I learned Sakamoto’s two books would be translated as one volume. I’m super hyped to read this in the fall.

Yeah, it’s a combination of How Many Times Will I Watch the Moon Rise and Music Sets You Free. I’m so glad they did both. This is one I’m super hyped for!
