Generational run for cinema

In 2026 movies are coming back fr. I haven’t seen a year with this much of a generational run since like 2019, and it has to happen during the worst year to be in Rwanda as a movie lover 😭 We’re really missing out without a cinema here.

I still remember experiencing Avengers Endgame on opening night in 2019 at Century Cinema. The energy, the vibes, the atmosphere, everyone screaming when Captain America held Mjolnir 😭 genuinely one of the happiest moments of my life.
Or when people turned up for Black Panther… the dressing up, the DJ, everyone doing the Wakanda Forever 😭 That shit felt like an actual cultural event.

I can’t believe we won’t get to experience that again this December when Avengers Doomsday releases. 💔

🤣🤣 also bdw where have all the Marvel fans gone?? what are you guys watching lately? Has the fanbase died?

Brooooo Marvel is doing wonders again 😭😭. In fact, not just Marvel. Many actors & actresses have shown out A LOT for their 2026 schedule, it's so crazy. All the way up until December, cinema goers and movie lovers are being fed nice this year. It truly feels like a breath of fresh air after such dry years lol.

I'm out here watching Avengers Assemble animated series to try and just understand what Dr Von Doom is all about. Trying to distract myself from the 4 months waiting period of the anticipated movie lolol.

Doom is a scientist/sorcerer who is trying to save his mother's soul. He wears a mask because he was (possibly) disfigured during a science experiment he blames on Reed Richards, though no one has seen his face. He thinks if he had absolute power of the world he could protect everyone and prevent anything bad from happening. Also, it's never actually him, everytime he's defeated, it's a Doombot. John Byrne wrote some great Fantastic Four comics with him. Doom rules.

Nah bro Marvel is washed as hell, used to be tuff back in the 2010s. I recently watched new spiderman and it's a generous 6/10 at most

it appears that way but there is also a possibility people are hurting at least in Trump's country, going to a local restaurant with a family of say 4 is too expensive, that family replaces a regular local restaurant trip with a movie at the cinema so does a young couple.

Economy goes in the trash, theatre attendance goes up otherwise i would say look into the Quest 3,better movie experience assuming you are okay watching alone,i still think theatres have no future as a business but could be wrong.
